“Wykrot” is the underside and exposed roots of a fallen tree - perceived to be the gate to the underworld. A tree uprooted by the wind is associated with supernatural intervention and destructive forces of nature. From now on the chthonic forces start reaching out from the depths of the earth, creating home for countless creatures. When the branches of the fallen tree no longer reach upwards, the vastness of the sky is finally being revealed.

When traditional folklore is passing away - a new life arises among its withering roots...

On our album you will hear songs referring to the musical traditions of Poland and Scandinavia, blended with the vibes of an imaginary village. Among the tavern bustle you will hear the cries of an unhappy maiden, the quarreling lovers and the sound of bagpipes played by Death itself.
